Rahne and Forge escape the Phalanx with the help of Doug-lok in part 2 of "Life Signs." But tensions mount when both begin to suspect that Doug-lok may be an even greater threat than the Phalanx. This 48-page issue ties in directly with X-Factor and Excalibur, and leads to the creation of Generation X.
